Terms and Conditions

Please carefully read the following terms and conditions before participating in any outdoor activities or programs offered by “Back to Basics”. By enrolling or participating in any program, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not enroll or participate in any activities.

Participant Responsibilities:

  • You acknowledge that participation in outdoor activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, or property damage.

  • You agree to assume all risks associated with participation in the program.

  • You agree to comply with all instructions provided by Company staff and instructors during activities, including safety guidelines, rules, and regulations.

  • You agree to disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or other relevant information to Company staff prior to participating in activities.

  • You agree to act responsibly and respectfully towards other participants, staff, and the natural environment.

  • You are solely responsible for verifying the correct dates mentioned on the documents related to the trip.

  • You acknowledge that baggage and personal belongings are at your risk throughout the trip and you are responsible for your personal belongings while on trip.

Payment and Cancellation Policy:

  • Payment for programs is due upon enrolment unless otherwise specified by Company.

  • Refunds may be provided in accordance with Company's cancellation policy, which may vary depending on the program. Please refer to the specific program details for cancellation terms.

  • No refund will be made if you voluntarily leave or drop out of the trip for any reason after the trip has begun.

  • No refunds will be made for any sightseeing, meals, accommodation, transportation or services not utilised.

  • Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule programs due to inclement weather, insufficient enrolment, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants may be offered a refund or the option to reschedule.

Liability Waiver:

  • You understand and acknowledge that participation in outdoor activities carries risks though mitigated by use of processes in the company yet the residual risks always remain.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive any and all claims against Company, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents for any injury, illness, or damage arising from or related to your participation in activities.

  • You agree to indemnify and hold Company harmless from any liability, loss, damage, or expense (including legal fees) arising from your participation in activities.

Medical Authorization:

  • In the event of a medical emergency, you authorize Company staff to administer first aid and seek medical treatment as necessary.

  • You agree to bear all costs associated with medical treatment, including but not limited to transportation, hospitalization, and medical services.

Photography and Media Release:

  • Company may take photographs, videos, or other media during activities for promotional or marketing purposes.

  • By participating in activities, you grant Company the irrevocable right to use your likeness, voice, and image in promotional materials without compensation or further approval.

Use of Tobacco/Alcohol:

  • We do not support the use of alcohol or tobacco before, during or after the trip.

  • If anyone found consuming or carrying any related substances, company has the right to cancel the trip at that very moment and the individual will not be entitled to any partial or full refund.

Agreement to Terms:

  • By enrolling or participating in any program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

  • If you are enrolling on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian and agree to these Terms on behalf of the minor participant.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Company regarding your participation in outdoor activities and programs and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
